CGCN Certification Committee

About CGCN

CGCN-RCCV's Certification Committee is comprised of members from grape and wine industry stakeholders throughout Canada.

Certification Committee Members

The Committee is chaired by former CGCN-RCCV Secretary Robert Prange, and is comprised of individuals from, nurseries, wineries, research institutions, vineyard managers, Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Agriculture and Agri Food Canada (AAFC), as well as the CGCN-RCCV Board of Directors.

The Committee has finalized certification protocols as of 2019. These standards are constantly under review to ensure that CGCN-RCCV is servicing the Canadian industry in every way possible. Interested in becoming certified?

Meetings

The Committee meets periodically to discuss efforts towards the certification process, and provide feedback to the Canadian Grapevine Certification Network's Board of Directors.

From time to time, the Committee is also called upon for an expert opinion based on the specialties of the members.
