As part of the recent 13th International Workshop on Grapevine Trunk Diseases in Mexico, Dr. Wendy McFadden-Smith presented the following poster based on research conducted under SCAP Cluster Activity 10 - Grapevine trunk disease: an under-rated threat to the Ontario grape industry? This study represents the first attempt to demystify the status of GTD in Ontario, and the surveys will continue through 2025 and beyond. Identifying the main GTD pathogens will provide a better understanding of GTD epidemiology and help to develop appropriate management strategies.
