Climate Atlas of Canada

Developed by a team of researchers at the University of Winnipeg’s Prairie Climate Center, the interactive Climate Atlas of Canada is now available online, and free for all to use!

The new map will allow users to track growing degree days with various bases, precipitation, frosts, and extreme heat and cold trends as well as see predictions for the coming years. Also included is documentaries on how Canadians are adjusting to the impacts of global warming. With French and English functions, the map is accessible to all, and an invaluable tool when used for weather predictions, as it is based upon the data of 12 global climate models.
